This life-size replica formed part of a Doctor Who exhibit at my local library. Aside from the dvds and books pictured, there was also a display of memorabilia and paraphenalia - the kind which one might typically see on Collectors - featuring a great deal of material relating to the Doctor Who series of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
I covet this Dalek! How good would that be in the entrance way to our house! I think the sign with it could be "Enter/Exit quickly or be Exterminated"...

ReplyDeleteThis one at the library looks to be more the labour-of-love variety (presumably by a dedicated fan or group) rather than the off-the-shelf kind. To me, that adds incredibly to its appeal.
Speaking of entryways, i once lived in a house with a blue front door. It was virtually screaming out to be TARDIS-themed.
